If you've been following along with my blog then you already know that Safeway has reduced prices on thousands of items in store. You also know that I was given the opportunity to give away a few $50 Safeway Gift cards to my readers. I recently asked what you all love best about shopping at Safeway and was pleased to see all the reasons I like shopping there listed and we played a guessing game based on a recent shopping trip I made (without coupons!).Now is your chance to tell me what you think about the new lower prices? Have you been down to Safeway recently and taken a look around? I'm sure if you have, you've seen those little yellow tags all over the store. You can leave your thoughts here anytime until 12pm PST on Monday and two lucky commenters will each receive a $50 Gift card. I won't announce the winners until sometime later that night (the kiddos have a doctors appointment in the afternoon). Here are the rules:

I really do love shopping Safeway and I do like there new lower prices. Of course, I'll continue to shop with coupons and in different stores- but Safeway is my favorite and my new default as a result of the price reductions.)

I have not done a lot of shopping at Safeway honestly. I've always thought it was a little pricey. I do love using my eCoupons there though!

Well, I often don't pay attention to the regular prices, since I go there for their Amazing coupon deals, but I was pleased to see the new, lower everyday price on packs of Capri Sun!

I do think they are good, but it seems like most stores are either doing lower prices in general or lower sale prices recently. But I can't complain! When I first started coupon shopping there were weeks where there was practically no deals worth doing for several weeks in a row-so this has been fun recently.
ReplyDeleteThe only price I've really paid attention to was the All 32 load detergent they had it marked reg around $7 on sale for $3.99, the same week Fred Meyer had an ad coupon for $2.99. So I'm not sure yet, but I cant wait to see what is going to happen.

Those yellow tags definitely catch my attention in the store, love the new lower price! This makes Safeway more competitive than other stores that I shop as well.

I shop their sales, especially if I can pair sales with coupons or their double coupons from time to time. I shop a number of stores that are nearby as I find great deals.

I like safeway but mostly go their for sale items and try to pair them with coupons and their double coupons. Their new lower prices on items make it easier to choose Safeway when I need a quick item

I usually only use Safeway to get staple items that I need right away since it is a block from my house. I have noticed that their lower prices are good on some items. Not all their yellow tags are lower then some of the other stores I shop at.

I noticed that a lot of my staples have new lower prices and that was nice to see. Not everything is cheaper at Safeway, so I will still shop around, but it has made shopping there easier on my wallet.
