FREE Sweet Tea @ Popeye's 6/12

Tomorrow only (June 12th) you can swing by your local Popeye's and get a 22oz Sweet Tea for FREE! I haven't tried their sweet tea before (and I do love sweet tea), but this sounds like a neat freebie. There aren't a ton of NW locations, but you can find the one nearest you here.

Don't forget that this Saturday is also the $2 Old Navy Tanktop sale!

Old Navy: $2 Tanks

This Saturday, June 12th, Old Navy will be running another $2 tank top sale! There's a limit of 5 per person. Obviously, that's a great deal- but we can do better, right? Old Navy's current printable coupon promotional thing is Barker's Bones on Facebook. It resets every Thursday (that's tomorrow) so you'll want to check that out for your chance to save even more- and who doesn't love that?!

The trick with these one-day Old Navy sales is to try to get there early, because they do sell out of certain sizes quickly. If you get there and they don't have your size, you might consider buying whatever size they do have and going back later to exchange for the right size. Obviously, that's slightly risky but it seems like tons of people have had good luck with that.

Old Navy Weekly

ON Weekly has a fresh batch of coupons, perfect for combining with that awesome $2 Women's tank top sale! Here's how to find the coupon you want:
  • 10% off purchase: Click the star that says "Boys" then click Zach's head
  • 15% off purchase: Click the star that says "Girls" and position your mouse above the circle that says $8 graphic tees. Simply click the butterfly when it lands.
  • $15 off a $75 purchase (20%): Click the star that says "Girls" then bring the sandals from the right hand column to where the girl's shoes are.
  • $5 off a $25 purchase (20%): Click the star that says "Toddler Girls" and drag the red heart from the middle of the hoodie to the red heart outline on the left sleeve.
  • $10 off a $50 purchase (20%): Click the star that says "Toddler Boys". Drag the sweater vest combo from the right hand column to the orange hoodie.

Better hurry though! They have a limited number of each coupon and while the ones listed are all currently available- they may not last long. Happy shopping!

Old Navy: $2 tanks starting tomorrow

This looks like a great deal to me! I got this info from m80:

"Looking for a colorful, sultry way to layer your look? Try this sweet deal: Women’s Natural Lace-Trim Camis from Old Navy. They’re $2 (Reg. $12.50) and come in an assortment of bold colors that will add daring to anything you’re wearing – even if you keep them under wraps. Stock up on this irresistible deal – you’ll love ‘em!
Get the Women’s Natural Lace-Trim Camis 2/5 – 2/11 and check them out today at OldNavyWeekly.com, where the highest value coupon is 10% off your purchase!"

I have a few of these in plain solid colors and they're great for layering, or wearing to bed, or around the house (I wear them almost all the time). For $2 a piece, you can bet I'll be picking up more than just a few, and the colors are super cute for spring and summer. Can't wait! Edit: the colors in store were not nearly as bright as pictured. They had white, brown, dark grey, yellow, blue, neon green, and pink at my store.

A few good posts

There have been a ton of great deals posted around the blogosphere lately, so I think it's time for another summary post. Here are a few links to some great deals I think you should check out!
  • Want a Wii and a $50 gift card to Walmart for $199+tax? Christy over at The Bargain Jargon has the scoop.
  • Quaker Oatmeal pancake mix for $.50 a box at Walgreens? For The Mommas has your details. (I don't like pancakes so this just sounds gross to me)
  • Old Navy Weekly has changed! Jen at Thrifty Northwest Mom has everything you need to know!
  • Puget Sound Prudence has the scoop on some great toy deals at Fred Meyers (through Saturday) with links to the coupons you need!

While you're clicking around the internet, don't forget to load new Cellfire and Shortcuts ecoupons to your shoppers card!!!

Old Navy Weekly Thursday and some updates on us

Sorry about the lack of posts. We had some family up and visiting to show off their new baby (he's super adorable and sweet) followed by two days of teething craziness from our 6 month old (complete with fever). In between all that we got some not-so-good news about my grandma (who could use some prayers, if you're so inclined). The baby is finally feeling better today, so I hope to get some posts going...or at least direct you to some good deals!

In the meantime, it's Thursday and that means hanging out near the computer and waiting for ONW to update with some coupons. ThirftyNWMom had to shut down her chat, and we're all headed over here to wait for the site update. There's still a limit of 200 so head over early, you don't want to miss out. Good luck to everyone!

No to-do list for me today, I've got almost nothing done around the house in the last couple of days, so I'm trying to do a bit of everything. No need to try to motivate myself away from the computer today!!

ONWeekly Thursday

It's Thursday, and I'm hanging out at ThrftyNWMom's chat plus keeping an eye on the ONWeekly page. Feel free to whistle at me (typing maygan will make my computer whistle at me) if you pop over there too! Last Thursday at my house was a disaster of epic proportions in a special toddler-inspired way...in other words I got nothing done, but a few spots of the house got some extra special love in the form of scrub downs. My to-do list today includes:
  • Yoga with the toddler (to calm him and stretch my back)
  • serious workout time 45 minutes of ddr on a too-high level
  • washing a couple loads of laundry
  • unloading, loading, and running the dishwasher
  • finding something to make with the mysterious "probably just like summersquash" squash
  • making up my menu for next week (I've been winging it this week)
  • finding a good recipe for poppyseed muffins (not lemony! or anything with frosting!) think i found a good one!
  • a walk to the Post Office to pick up one of those flat-rate shipping boxes. postponed until tomorrow!
  • and maybe trying to find info on that chiropractor (or someone!) who has a special thing for people on our insurance plan. My back has been killing me (in the form of constant dull pain) for over a week now and I think I need to do something about it.

Another Old Navy Thursday...

It's Thursday once again, and I'm headed over to the chat at ThriftyNWMom to keep up with all the Old Navy updates today! (the chat doesn't appear to be working at the moment, but I'm sure that's just a glitch!) There are no $75 coupons this week, but there will be the $65 off a $100 purchase and those are still nice coupons to have. I'm going to try to be around for most of the day, but my uncle just arrived in town so we may run out and show him a little bit of couponing. I'm also going to post my to-do list here to keep me motivated, since it's so easy to get sucked into the ON madness and not get anything done:
  • Make and freeze baby food: carrots, squash, and green beans
  • Unload dishwasher and get kitchen cleaned up
  • Clear off the pool table
  • Find a nicer way to store Trent's dipes (the cardboard box under the table looks silly)
  • Wash and sort through the next size up clothing for Ryan
  • Get the husbands work laundry washed
  • Get coupons organized and week's shopping planned
  • Update the calender for the month of September
  • Make counting book with Trent
  • Brownies!
  • clean the couch

Old Navy

I just got back from Old Navy, had to use that $75 off $100 coupon I got on Thursday, and they've got all kinds of stuff on sale. They're running a 50% off all clearance items through Wednesday, and there's tons of things on clearance! At our store, the men's and baby sections look like they have been pretty well picked through. It's not just clothes on clearance either, they've got balls, books, and a variety of other things marked down. You may want to check this out soon (plus, they've got air conditioning- great for those who are melting in this heat!). They've also got a buy one, get one 50% off sale on most tops. We did really well with our coupon! We spent $28.94 and got:

  • 2 toddler polos (3t and 4t) (.52 each)
  • brown pants 3t (2.36)
  • jean shorts 2t (.92)
  • a cute beach towel (2.62)
  • 3 tank tops for me (2.46 each for lace, 1.67 for plain)
  • 1 long sleeved shirt for me (2.85)
  • 2 polos for the husband (3.83 each)
  • matching swim trunks for the boys next year (.65 each)
  • a red & white ball (.46)
  • one cute tank top for the cousin's toddler girl (.85)

Thursday = Old Navy Weekly

Today is Thursday, and that means the Old Navy Weekly site will be reloaded with coupons sometime. We never know when it'll happen, so you may want to keep your eyes peeled (of course, the last two weeks it happens minutes after I go out). The best news is that the "$75 off a $100 purchase" coupon is returning this week!! Both that and the "$50 off a $100 purchase" coupons go really quickly. The $75 coupon is an awesome way to get some cheap new clothes!

If you decide to spend some time hunting for coupons today, or are looking for more information, my two favorite blogs with ON (old navy) chats are: The Thrifty Mama and Thrifty Northwest Mom. If you swing over to either of these sites to chat you can ask any questions you may have. They both have rules, but so long as you follow these three- you'll be fine in either chat: keep the chat "family friendly", do not post after the bell rings (it means the site is about to load) unless you are posting a coupon location, and no begging for coupons.
