An Albertson's Trip:

$2.53 spent, $34.48 saved (93%)
Plus, I have 3 FREE milk catalinas available for the next time I need milk! The Rice Krispies went to St. Vincents (who needs more cereal, in case any of you are local and have some to spare!). The Marshmallows were an impulse purchase and only $1, but we kept some of the RK from the other day and I thought we might try making Rice Krispie treats sometime in the future (maybe? I'll be honest, I know they're supposed to be super easy to make, but I've never done it.). The celery was on sale for a dollar.

  1. I went to Albies to see if any of the Kellogg's has the $1/1 Q's attached. The only one box that did was a flavored Mini-Wheats. Bummer! Hopefully nobody is just pulling them off the boxes! Glad you have been so lucky :}

  2. My regular store had a display in back, and all the boxes there had the peelies. I don't think that's the norm, and they're certainly going quickly but it's nice to find. If you have enough of the $0.70 blinkies, the deal will work out well after we get doublers on sunday!

  3. Thanks Maygan! I think stores in my area get hit pretty hard. I frequently have trouble finding a lot of the peelies and coupon books I read about online. Oh well, I still feel pretty lucky with some of the deals I get. I am waiting for doublers for the free milk deal I think. I did notice a Graham Cracker display with $1/1 Q's and they are on sale for $2.49 (49¢ with doublers coming). Not as good as the free saltines were, but still a great deal for Honey Made:} BTW, Love the new look!

  4. Thanks Kim! I saw the Graham crackers and will probably have to buy a few at that price (I love them, and to the boys- they're as good as cookies!)

  5. How long are the milk cats good for?

  6. They're good for 2 weeks from when you buy your cereal. So mine will expire on the 8th next month.
