My Safeway trip today

$31.23 spent, $58.08 saved (that's 65%)
Yes, it's a little bit on the pricier side mostly because of the steaks that were priced at $15.87, but the husband got confirmation today that he got his pay raise so we're celebrating (and t-bones are a great way to do that on such a beautiful day!). Here's what I did in two transactions so I could make the most of the $1 off a produce purchase of $5 or more coupons in the new "Make a Sandwich" booklet found in stores now.
  • 2 Nature Valley Granola Bars -0.20
  • BC Potatoes -0.36
  • 2 boxes Cheerios $1.00 (we had opened our last box today)
  • Nature Valley Nut Clusters -0.50
  • Warm Delights -0.30
  • Sugar Cookie Mix -0.30
  • Frosting -0.11
  • Delimex Taquitos $4.99 (these are the best taquitos you can get in the freezer section of a grocery store)
  • 4lbs. Strawberries $4.88
  • Baked Potato Soup $2.99 w/in ad coupon
  • 18ct Lucerne Eggs $1.88 w/in-ad coupon
  • T-bone steaks $13.87 (I used this Safeway coupon)
  • 4 Avocados $2.26
  • Cantaloupe $2.13
