Spent: $4.79, Saved $65.99 (93%)
I started Walgreens today with $9 worth of RR and ended with $10 in RR. I purchased the personal trimmer, skintimate, dentek, and tootsie rolls in two transactions- with only $2.34 out of pocket. Everything else in the photos were from Safeway- I bought mostly Chive&Onion Philly Mini's because all of my local stores were out of the regular flavor (and the blinkies to go with them). I spent only $2.45 on the bagels, carrots, and ramen (I've been craving this stuff for an after bed-time snack).
Hi Maygan! With the Philly Minis, did you purchase them in one transaction or 5 at a time?
ReplyDeleteWow- My Safeway has been wiped out of cream cheese. No blinkies either. Maybe I will find another location. How are you going to eat all that?!
ReplyDeleteI purchase them in different amounts from 3 different stores. I got 5 at the first store, 10 at the second, and 5 at the third. You can buy them all at once, but no one store had enough in stock that it would have been possible.
ReplyDeleteAnon- the plain ones I picked up don't expire until september/october and the chive&onion are good until july/august. They're supposed to be awesome in mashed potatoes and you can whip up a nice dipping sauce for veggies. There are actually quite a few recipes on the kraft website. Of course, I'm not keeping all the ones I picked up for myself either- I've got a few people in mind who would love some, and I'd love to not have to worry about using them all up!
ReplyDeleteThe Blinkies in Spokane were also taken down I think that they caught on to the fact that is gave us .30 overage oh well
ReplyDeleteJoDee- actually they were supposed to be taken down today as scheduled by the company that puts up the blinkies, your people may have taken them down early if they were already empty. New blinkies should also be going up right about now.
ReplyDeleteThat's a lot of cream cheese to buy all at once. Looks like you wiped those stores clean.
ReplyDeleteanon, it does look like tons, doesn't it? I'm lucky to have 3 stores nearby (on en route to places I'm going anyways) and another 2 just a short drive away.
