We had a busy weekend, and my menu plans managed to get all mixed up in the meantime. The current plan is one I came up with quickly last night with the foods I have on hand. here it is:
Sunday: beef stew out of the freezer
Monday: broccoli & chicken in the crock pot, served with rice
Tuesday: Stuffing casserole (using Monday's leftover chicken), salad, crescent rolls
Wednesday: Beef and broccoli stir fry
Thursday: undecided
Friday: veggie tray, creamed tuna on toast (I know it sounds weird, but it's really yummy- a perfect Friday comfort food!)
Saturday: depending on the weather, the husband might grill something or else maybe I'll do a chicken pot pie soup with rolls?
Sounds good! I never manage to plan dinner until I hit the kitchen to make it!
ReplyDeleteI like the creamed tuna on toast idea-we still have plenty of tuna from the sales this summer and always need ideas for it!
